Just 300m from the Ciampac ski area (which will be linked to Sella Ronda from December 2015), you will find Santa Maria ad Nives, a cosy hotel in Penia, a suburb of Canazei, situated at 1555m above sea level.

A stone’s throw from some of the most prestigious ski slopes of the Dolomites and the Sella Ronda Circuit, the hotel is located halfway between Marmolada and the Sella group, a short distance from the trail that leads to the Contrin Refuge.
Our windows look out over a picturesque landscape which extends from the Vernel peak of the Marmolada all the way to the Colac range, where you could have a surprising early morning encounter with roebucks during the summer months.

A deeply-rooted culture of service, 35 comfortable rooms, a bright restaurant, refurbished bar, spacious meeting room, and private chapel make this the perfect place for an active as well as spiritual holiday.

The hotel also has ample free parking as well as a paid covered parking garage for cars and motor bikes.

All of our rooms have free Wi-Fi, an en-suite bathroom and TV.

The field in front of the hotel is inhabited by mountain goats and roebucks which come down during the day to find food, while at night time deer pass around the back on their way to the stream situated just below the hotel.
